New Cameras for my collection...

Xmas and my birthday have been very good to me this year. all together I have added 7 cameras to my collection. I've already posted the Cameras I got for Xmas. Here are are some pictures of what I have received recently.

first up is an un-named water camera these are all over eBay with all sorts of names but I have been told that it may just be a Vivitar.

This Polaroid: One Step 600 Flash Close-Up came like new with box and instructions. I cant wait to get some film and try it out.

This Zeiss Ikon: Box Tengor 756 is in working order lenses are in good shape and seem to be free of dust, it even has a spare spool so I may try it out when I can get some film. laters

Polaroid 600 film in an sx-70 and vice versa

Currently my Polaroid uses 600, it's an Impulse Portrait but at one time I had both Polaroid 1000 witch uses SX-70 film and I had a Polaroid Sun 600 LMS which uses 600. But  I never knew I could swap the film and because of that I had to stop using the pretty white one with the rainbow because I could only find the 600. now that I know this I want to get a nother Polaroid 1000 to play with.

My wish list...

We all have wants and wishes and I have many, like learning Italian and getting my Italian citizenship(working on that now) learning to play the guitar (also working on this one) I want my family and those I care about to have residue income. so that we can remain above the poverty line and not have to worry about the bills and such. and then I have all these things I want things like a Fiat 500 from the 70's and a Kleinlieferwagen (it's a VW postal truck that was used in northern Europe) I want a house for my family one that we can enjoy with room to do all the things we dream of doing and like to do. and I want cameras all kinds mostly large format film cameras and instant cameras like this Polaroid SX-70

Thanks to Solaris and frugalphotographer.com and small companies like Solaris. These companies are beginning to reproduce old film types. remember the old box camera like the Brownie 620 for example, in the past you had to re spool a new roll of 120 film and if you didn't have an empty 620 spool you were out of luck. but that is starting to change a quick trip on Google and you will find a number of site that carry once obsolete types of film. here are some of the links I have found...

another paper camera, this one is made by Linatree it’s a real simple design based on the Dirkon, well basically it is the Dirkon only the art work has been changed. by the way the site this camera came from is no longer there and so this camera is very hard to find now. I’ll post the Dirkon next, but for now enjoy this one.

this camera is probably the least expensive camera in history. back “during the 1970’s magazines published in Communist Czechoslovakia were controlled by the state, like the majority of other enterprises. Very few good magazines were available and were difficult to get hold of, so people would borrow and exchange them when given the opportunity. This also applied to magazines aimed at young people… the cut-out paper camera known as Dirkon*, published in 1979 in the magazine ABC mladých techniků a přírodovědců [An ABC of Young Technicians and Natural Scientists].” it was created by Martin Pilný, Mirek Kolář and Richard Vyškovský basicly it’s “a functional pinhole camera made of stiff paper, designed for 35 mm film, which resembles a real camera. the Konica Wai Wai Super Wide camera

 

I have known about this disposable camera for some time now and have wanted one ever sence I heard about them. now I discover that the company that makes them has stopped. this means that one there going to be hard to find and 2 there going to get expensive when you do find one. the video will explain why I want one.
